Hey guys! You already know, I’m back again! This the 3rd consecutive blog for this day HAHAHAHA. How are you today guys! I hope you all had a majestic jar that is full of hope despite of all the negativity! I just want to share this hidden passion to you guys.

I WANT TO BE A RAPPER!

That’s right. One day, I want to be a local rapper! It started way back 2013, when the first time I watched some battles of The Filipino Battle Rap League: Fliptop. At first, I didn’t like it because of some vulgar and foul words thrown to each other. But suddenly, I became mesmerized of how they creatively play the words, and let the words be the swords. And I’m totally hooked in when I figured out that there was a thing called “Rap”. We all know that rap is just like a song, but it has a different tempo and tune. Sometimes, it can be fast or slow, it depends on the artists which one they like. So, when I hear some beat, I couldn’t stop myself to spit or say some lyrics that I don’t even that I can. I’m still watching videos of FlipTop because I’m excited to hear some sick bars and sick pen games uses of words!

But sadly, there are only few who appreciates Rap, I mean like from Eminem or Logic or to someone who makes Rap to be a role model. I think because Rap is not meant to hear, but to listen? Because there are so much words in a Rap that when you hear it and see the structures and the point of it, you will be amazed and realize that it makes sense! Great use of figure of speech, that’s the thing I want. Salute to all the Local Rappers here in Philippines! they are all my inspiration when it comes about Rap.

So now, I am currently making a Rap! I will not be the rapper who focuses at money,girls,etc. because I want to make songs that can impact to the lives of individual. Actually, only one is done because I have so many drafts that I can’t finish because I know I lack experience when it comes to being a rapper. By the way, I’m using Filipino when it comes to Rap because this is the way to show that I love my country, from where I was born and chosen to live. And this Rap helps me a lot. I mean, it makes me to be less overthinking person. All of what I want to be the topic of my rap is based on all of what I was overthinking. Because I figured out that I’ve started not to overthink about it when I have finished my rap entitled “Takot” or Scared in English. It is all about a fear of losing someone who had been part of your life.

That’s all for this blog! Just wanted to share one of my dream. Do you have any dreams? YES you have! And you should strive for it because it will be so worth it! See this pictures at the top? They are from the First Filipino Rap Battle League named FlipTop. There are so many people here in Philippines that hates them because of the false cracks (rumors or lies about them) that they hear when they are battling. But they do not know that, each of them has their own story and own burdens in life. They do not notice their pen games and passion for the Hiphop, but they only notice how are they so aggressive in a battle that it is included for the performance only.

DONT JUDGE QUICKLY!

But wait, I’m not angry just because the font is bold and all words are capitalized. I just want to remind all of us, including myself, that we should not judge quickly. Why? It is because we don’t know the whole story! Majority of us are so quickly to say something bad even when we have just seen or hear that particular thing once. But hey, please do not judge someone based just on your own preferences. I’m not attacking some specific people a’right? This is for all the people even for the one who don’t judge quickly.

Example for this situation. Imagine you are just walking down the streets, you came from the place you want to hangout. Then suddenly, when you are looking at something on the road, there was someone bumped on you but didn’t say sorry to you. Would you go after him and force him to apologize? Would you say that he/she had no manners and his/her parents are responsible for his/her such insensitive? But did you think that he/she is like so mean to everyone because he/she had a dilemma on that day that it is so heavy that’s why he/she couldn’t find some reason to smile? But hey, just want to tell you guys that even if the situation is not like this, WE SHOULD NOT JUDGE ANYONE SO QUICKLY! Try to know first what’s on their mind or on their perspective. Try to know first what’s their story. Because sometimes, you can already hurt someone by not knowing that you had. Just live your life, do what you want, do what makes you happy, do what makes you excited and exhausted with worth, and let them also do the same without you being judgemental because they let you did what you want in life! All people have flaws. All have imperfections. All have mistakes. But we don’t have the right to discredit them because we should just help them to improve and learn from their experience. Try to know them first, as in their whole story, before you say something worse.

That’s all for this blog! I hope you do realize that you should not judge quickly to someone just by seeing or hearing them once. Let yourself to be open at all times so that peace and satisfaction will always be with you. Have a great day!

For me, I just want to just go with the beat while just not bothering about problems in life ’cause every person should learn to rest and pause, but not to stop. I repeat, EVERY PERSON SHOULD LEARN HOW TO REST AND PAUSE, BUT NOT TO STOP.   

I recommend Lo Fi music to all of you guys when you just want to just chill and sit near the balcony or laying down while thinking your dreams. Just check it out and give it a try so that you could treat yourself sometimes. Hey Guys! How are you today? I hope you are happy and fine through the day! So it is already 2 weeks since I posted my first blog! Sorry for the long break because….

I’VE SPENT MY 2 WEEKS FOR A VACATION! The first week is for the Intramurals. And, the second week is for the…..

First,from December 25 to December 28, I went to my cousin’s house because I want to hangout with them. So our hangout is, we went to BGC near SM Aura and Market Market at 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM if I’m not mistaken. We ate at Brother’s Burger and then we went to Starbucks just to chill the night! Plus, I bought a book entitled Psych101 that costs 766 pesos because I’m interested in Psychology.

December 28 morning, the day after we went to BGC, I came back home because I am so excited to see someone I miss and that I can be with my classmates. Unfortunately, I am not with them when they have canvas because I forgot my wallet :(( . But still, we went to Gil and Mar and we are all together!

Lastly, December 29, My mom wants me to come with her to join at a Taize Prayer in Manila. So I quickly agreed to her because I’m curious because I do not know what should be done when we attended on it. Guess what? It was so worth it! You will feel His presence and say your intentions and let Him do the rest! I wish I could attend once more!

That’s all the reason why I am late uploading my blog, it is because I spent my Christmas week to them!

DON’T WASTE TIME!

This is what truly I want to share with you guys, don’t waste time! I know it is already common to say something like this. But, I just want to remind all including myself that we should value and use our time in a purpose. Because I have seen people who gathered to meet in a restaurant, and then when they have met they just holding their cellphones looking in a social media. Seriously? You’ll just gonna scroll up and scroll down on a newsfeed instead of knowing some news about the people around the table? and I have seen people, including me, going to some computer shops instead of having a quality time for the family. I’m not gonna lie, I am truly the example. I chose to play games like LoL or NBA 2k19 but I did not chose to play to my little cousin, or should I say my little brother, that always miss me and kiss me when I got home. Time is so important bro, It does not stop like you would want. Time should be placed in a treasure box so that you can cherish it all the time. Think some things that it is worth it for your time so that you can’t regret anything. DON’T WASTE TIME! It is not to late, go talk to your parents instead of Twitter and Instagram. Go hangout with your friends out of the house instead of using Facebook. Use your time in a purpose before it disappears.

From Philippines, my full name is Rey Albert T. Dalanon, which you can also see in my Home Page. I am 15 years old from now ’cause I was born in November 24,2003. I am a Grade 9 student where there is so much responsibilities to take, and I am the only child but I have a cousin who I treat like my little brother and I love him.

• My parents once said that a dog had saved my life when I fell to the ground back when I was 3 years old. I’m not kidding men.

• I like FlipTop, the Battle Rap League in Philippines, but I’m not focusing in bad words and such. I just want to listen of how they play creatively the words.

• When I’m bored, I just sing any songs that comes in my mind.
• I like to wear sweaters.
• I’m a Kpop fan, but not a toxic fan.
• My fave colors are black and white.
• I’m an overthinking person
• I want to play basketball, but I know I’m not good at it
• I can be silent and quiet sometimes, but I can be so loud where it is so much annoying HAHAHAH
